RD Report

This feels like the first true breather for the digital art market in a minute (and for the report - ha!)

The market activity for 'Biome Lumina' and 'Winds of Yawanawa' is impressive.

Biome: We projected active trading in the 2-3 ETH range, and while that was the case for the first 24 hours, it has already leaped into the next ETH bracket. The 250 (of 1k) artworks initially held back is something to think about. As fast to react as these collection markets are, market compression can go a long way. These artworks are now in the process of distribution to collectors.

Winds: Same story. We projected a dip and level out at 4 ETH. That happened (low sale: 3.97), but it has picked back up with a handful of sales since.

What does it all mean? First, it's a hat tip to Refik Anadol. Second, the top end of the digital art market is alive and well.

These past few weeks we've seen more examples of some of that working its way into lower ETH tiers, collections, and artists. Let's see if that continues with a week+ until Memorial Day and several weeks until Summer.

Join us in the 24 Hours of Art Telegram today at 12:00pm ET for This Week in ART with Niftytime and me. We'll dig deeper into the week that was, and I'll revisit some live time in NYC this week for Anna Condo at SuperRare's Offline Gallery, as well as a pop-in to Heft.

Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 3 ETH+ Collection, 0.3 ETH+ 1/1, 0.75 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.3 ETH+ Edition
