Four works by Kjetil Golid are sold from the coldgg collection.
Art Blocks collection 'Archetype' sees three of those sales, totaling 12.97 WETH.
The highlight is 'Archetype #240', 1 of 27 Corner Scenes, selling for 9.31 WETH to NFTButler_CCC. Corners rarely move, with their last public sale coming in December 2023 for 55 ETH. Coldgg has one remaining in the collection - 'Archetype #287'.
July 2020 SuperRare 1/1 mint 'dual' sells for 3.51 WETH. The artwork was originally made for Kate Vass Galerie Exhibition 'Game of Life', curated by Jason Bailey.
'PX3368S' by Skygolpe sells for $73,500 USD to an anonymous collector in a deal brokered by Ekaitza.
The artwork is a 100x70cm acrylic on canvas physical with digital certificate of authenticity.
It is part of the artist's 'Paint on Pixel' Collection, which he refers to as "a cornerstone of my artistic journey". It debuted with Christie's in 2022 and has since traveled to Switzerland, US, UAE, Hong Kong, and Italy.
Via Ekaitza:
"Every time we’re able to guide a new collector toward the remarkable talent in digital contemporary art, it’s a collective win. As some of you know, Skygolpe has been one of my biggest bets in the last few years, both digitally and physically. I’ve spent time studying his work, visiting his studio in Italy, and immersing myself in the depth of his vision.
It’s incredibly fulfilling to see that belief now echoed by a new collector, someone I deeply respect for their own extraordinary journey.
Sometimes the signal is clear. You just have to be looking in the right direction."

Any market has ebbs and flows, entries and exits.
It is fascinating to see how collectors go about mass entry and mass exit, the poles of participation. There is no one right answer, as there are often considerations that go beyond the numbers.
Coldgg is unwinding a collection in bursts. Scattered among artworks within liquid collections are 1/1 artworks like the Dmitri Cherniak from over the weekend and today's Kjetil Golid. Where will they end up after passing through bot hands?
My favorite remaining artwork in the collection is 'The Muse - Vivid Sky' by Alpha Centauri Kid. Technically a digital companion to a physical, I wonder if the duo is moved at any point in the near future.

...but interesting to me is 'I think of you when I'm on the train' by Mumbot selling for 0.34206969 ETH to Redbeard.
Yesterday's DAM Show featured conversations with Hafftka (first half) and Sergito (second half). The conversations left me with a lot to think about and were flat out enjoyable. I hope you took something away from them.
Here is the recording.
