Cycles of impact are fascinating. Sometimes it is the slow pressure build of edition and series acquisitions that explodes into a milestone 1/1. Other times it is a milestone 1/1 that funnels attention into more accessible editions and series. For an artist on the rise, around and around we go.
In today's case, we see 1/1 Culture Vault acquisitions funnel into a strong 7 sale day for 'beef brothko', a 'nameless dread', another 'Around Again' (PROOF edition) and two editions from 'county fair shiddy prizes'.
As the years - and ultimately decades - pile up for digital artwork with blockchain provenance, cataloging, preserving, and storytelling on behalf of the nooks and crannies of art become essential to these cycles of attention. We will see strong works left behind and weaker works elevated, simply as a byproduct of effective information distribution and accessibility.
