Edition #30 first sells for $140,000 USDC from Odious_Vault to an anonymous collector via Gondi before reselling for 60 WETH.
The artwork was originally released in October 2020 with Nifty Gateway for $1 USD each, as part of Beeple's 'GENESIS COLLECTION'.
Also selling is an edition of 'THE 5000 DAY SELECTS' /105 by Beeple for 10.99 ETH.
'Check 6661' by Jack Butcher and Visualize Value is acquired for 20 WETH by OperaMagna-fsft.
It is 1 of 73 Single Checks currently in the 'Checks - VV Originals' collection.
'Reputation Risk' 1/1, also by Jack Butcher and Visualize Value, sells for 8.88 ETH to spacecowboy_nft, but with a significant twist.
Each of the auction's 23 bidders received a new unique 1/1 turning the "No Reserve" text of the original into the bid amount they denominated.

Now for the twist. In the end, the winning bid of 8.88 ETH is fully returned to collector spacecowboy_nft.

'Chromie Squiggle' /10k by Snowfro sees 12 sales for 49.56 ETH (avg: 4.13 ETH), pushing collection list to 4.49 ETH.
Nine are acquired by a new anonymous wallet containing only the Squiggles and three 'CryptoPunks' by Larva Labs.
Day Zero 'Chromie Squiggle #581' is acquired for 4.445 ETH by superbored_vault.

The Summer art market stays hot!
Eyes are on Claire Silver today with Avant Arte as the ranked auction counts down.
I spent yesterday evening at the Toledo Museum of Art. They have outdone themselves. This Exhibition is a stunner. I'll be sharing footage from it today. In the words of Museum Director Adam Levine during a spirited speech, "this is art".
