Welcome to a brand new week in art!

As the years pass, it's natural to see collectors change focus and/or move on entirely. The question becomes: what happens when they do?

Yesterday the above question was asked and answered in the Hafftka ecosystem, with one of the more graceful exits possible.

Thirty edition sales in total took place across four collections - 'Hafftka's Bullpen' (14), 'Hafftka Homage' (13), '14 Karat' (2), and 'Declaration of Independence' (1). A single collector sold the vast majority of them and has only two remaining.

For an artist like Hafftka, who has relentlessly created and shared, circumstances like the above are far more likely to be viewed as opportunities, not misfortunes. Collectors were ready. That is heartening to see.
