ETH Aped
Cowboy Ape 'CryptoPunk #5577' sells for $5.15M of preferred company stock to GameSquare Holdings from Robert Leshner.
GSQ adds an additional $10M in Ethereum to holdings that now contain over $52M. The acquisitions will be in support of their blockchain-native treasury program. Treasury companies allow for the pursuit of ETH yield generation, something not currently possible with ETFs.
The Punk deal is aided by Eli Scheinman, and Ryan Zurrer's 1OF1 will now serve as the Punk's custodian.
'CryptoPunks' by Larva Labs see an ensuing surge of 27 sales for 2.2K ETH, with the collection's lowest list pushed to 50.99 ETH.
It is Hoodie Punks that lead the way, seeing 8 sales for 1,258 ETH in total. A single anonymous wallet is responsible for the first 6. Lowest list for a Hoodie is now 210 ETH.

The fireworks are back with CryptoPunks again taking the lead. Treasury szn initiated.
Encouraging is the complementary activity at every level of the art primary and secondary markets.
Also encouraging is that for the most part, the EtherRock sale didn't spark the usual debate. In the past its sales have served as a lightning rod for discontent. (1) Punks were an ideal distraction, (2) tougher times filtered some of that out, and (3) a higher % of those remaining understand that it is not either/or, and an EtherRock is a vastly different animal than taking commensurate ETH and distributing it across art and artists.
