"An abstract 'home' built in code."
'canopyHome();' by Ix Shells is freshly transferred to Snowfro for his birthday (happy birthday Snowfro!)
The new 1/1 artwork is an artist-to-artist commission from Snowfro originally set in motion by six Chromie Squiggles and is poetically detailed by Ix Shells in its description:
"This piece grew on slow time, your kind of time. That patience seeped in like rainforest mist: every extra month let another pixel sprout a leaf, let the gradients learn how humidity really feels. So run the line now. A house lifts itself into green light, woven from those no-deadline pings and the trust behind them. It's our trade made canopy: you gave me space, the code gives you shelter. Whenever you call the function, the forest remembers how waiting can be a gift."
Via Ix Shells:
"[The artwork] revolves around the idea of an invitation for Erick and his family. I'd like them to visit Panama one day."
Via Toni Marinara, ARTXCODE:
"Itzel has been focused the last few years on her Museum exhibition with the National Gallery of Denmark, entitled 'Against All Odds', which showed last summer through December. During this period she took time away from minting and from being active on Twitter, to focus on this journey: one she felt was important for her personal growth off chain and to help further generative art to a larger audience.
This mint marks her return from that voyage."
Two groups of 5 works stand out within these 24 hours:
Five artworks from Amaan Jahangir's 'mixed messages' collection are acquired by ConvictionSZN for 9.5 ETH total:
Via Conviction:
"There's plenty artists out there doing genius work, all they need is some momentum to get going. I believe this is the role we play as collectors. We are a voting machine that can potentially shape the culture of the space for the better and, in a niche such as ours it has never been more important than it is today...
Mixed Messages, [Jahangir's] most recent exhibition, is nothing short of a spark of genius. Transforming the experiences from a 7-year relationship into a wide array of emotions through one of the most beautiful stylistic concepts I've seen just had me scrolling through all pieces, never wanting it to end."
The five artwork '< when the west was lost >' collection by m0dest with SuperRare sees a flurry of early bidding:
Via m0dest:
"One big W from this series with SuperRare : new friends. so many new connections, and im thankful for all of who you reached out."

The ix shells x Snowfro story sets the feels for the day. Please say something nice to each of them on a special occasion!
Art discovery is in the air and collectors are beating its drum. We've of course discussed the rampant exploration of m0dest's multi-year journey, and today Conviction makes a similar statement on the work of Amaan Jahangir.
The Ronald Ong statement is a powerful one too, isn't it? The artist buys back a 1/1 work and immediately sends it live for auction at low reserve. He is convicted in the work and wants it to find the right, new home, whatever it ends up being.
Let's keep going on the 1/1 front. Dolce Paganne and neurocolor are two personal favorites. Similarly, while I'm expressing biases, I'll point you to 'The Shift' (live 1/1 section). It's worth a watch.
Bryan Brinkman, Jake Fried, and Ryan Koopmans joined me for a memorable one. We told a lot of stories, shared a lot of art, and both Jake and Ryan discussed their respective creative processes.
