Two 'Fidenza' by Tyler Hobbs sales are in, both to pudgybearwhale and brokered by Oliver Morris.
'Fidenza #593' sells for 72.2 WETH ($130,610 USD) and is 1 of 35 Spirals in the 1/1/999 Art Blocks collection.
'Fidenza #567' sells for 54,000 USDC via Gondi and is 1 of 30 Jumbo XL Scale in the collection.
'Paper Trail' by Jake Fried sells for 29.9 ETH to antxx25.
The 1/1 artwork was originally minted in November of 2021 via SuperRare, and it is a 1 minute looping "hand-drawn animation with ink, white-out and collage" with sound design by Jake Fried.
It provides one point of closure from yesterday's sequence of events. They began with a large number of artworks being sold from the AOI Collection into WETH bids. 'Paper Trail' was sold for 2.47 WETH.

What a wild day yesterday.
I was literally at a breakfast table with Niftytime crafting the report over a meal when the AOI Collection events transpired. It all started with an innocuous "what the hell happened here?" as I reviewed activity. A little Niftytime blockchain sleuthing later, and we had quite an interesting chain of events on our hands. The report shipped hours later than planned.
It's essential not to speak in absolutes. We know the what, we know the blockchain side, we know that AOI is saying there was a security breach, and we know that Multi announced he is no longer with AOI in an unrelated post. Anything is possible. We have seen enough outlier situations over the years to know that.
I want to state the above so you have the information, but I do not want to focus on the above. Shit happens, plain and simple.
Instead, I'd like to focus on the unparalleled amount of 1/1 artworks and history, many of which we will see acquired in the coming days/weeks from bots.
Let's celebrate the art with some friends today.
Join Bryan Brinkman, Jake Fried, Ryan Koopmans, and me at 12:00pm ET for art, stories, and screen share.
