Asprey Studio partners with the British Museum to launch 11 physical sculptures and digital Ordinal artworks.
The physical sculptures are modeled after German painter and printmaker Albrecht Dürer's 1515 depiction of a rhinoceraus. Each is 40cm long and made of 90 individual pieces of silver arc-welded, hammered and engraved.
Via Alastair Walker, Chief Creative Officer of Asprey:
“Dürer’s Rhinoceros is one of the most iconic drawings and woodcuts in European art history. His artistic mastery remains unmatched. We have added Asprey Studio’s dimension to it, one that we hope inspires people too.”
The first sculpture produced is acquired by the Museum for 3.5 BTC and marks its first Ordinal.
The remaining 10 sculptures are priced at 100k Euros each, with 6 having found private collector homes and 4 available.
'See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil' by Richard Nadler sells for 60k Euros via private sale to Rani Jabbani.
The digital and physical triptych includes three 1m x .7m embroideries by Maison Vangart.
The works are an "allegory about modern disconnection and silence", exploring themes of human agency, machine autonomy, and women's voices.
Via Richard Nadler:
"The viewer is left to ponder: can technology truly be critiqued from within, or does this endeavor only deepen our entanglement with it?"

'Taste of Textures' by Yuri_jjjj with Artie Galerie and Verse
I didn't begin today's report expecting it to contain so much, but the landscape is alive.
Some off the beaten trail headlines lead the day, each prioritizing high effort physical components. You can even extend that conversation to Refik Anadol's Biome.
The 'god of shadows' by Alpha Centauri Kid journey (and its past month of transactions) highlights something important at play in today's digital art market. Two things are true. One, it's reasonable to suggest that attention and value lagged during a slower time and there is a warranted increase. Two, it's reasonable to suggest that ETH experiencing a 50% increase in a short period of time warrants correction to the downside.
Weighing these factors is still an inexact science. At the moment they are roughly at equilibrium.
Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 3 ETH+ Collection, 0.3 ETH+ 1/1, 0.75 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.3 ETH+ Edition
