EMPIRE THINGS by XCOPY

RD Report

Be careful everyone. It never hurts to repeat that.

Separately, I've been watching the introduction of Refik Anadol's new collection closely, and there are a number of angles.

First, we will likely see a near-$5M mint (I say near in case there are some artworks held back).

Second, we are in the midst of a Winds of Yawanawa re-pricing. Why? A few reasons. The most immediate is liquidity for collectors participating in the upcoming mint. The one that is fascinating to think through (short, mid, long-term) is differentiation. Prior to this mint, WoY held a very unique position within the Refik Anadol world from artwork to motion to story. I am not suggesting that Biome Lumina is the same, but there are similar qualities. None of this threatens the mint in any way, but it does prompt a new mental model. Collectors and speculators are always constructing and re-constructing their own, a healthy behavior. Let's see what that means.

If I had to guess, in the short term at least, I'd expect Winds to level out around 4 ETH and Biome to see active trading 2-3 ETH.

Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 3 ETH+ Collection, 0.35 ETH+ 1/1, 0.75 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.35 ETH+ Edition

Catch Up: The DAM Show!

We welcomed Osinachi, Mika Baronn, and Simon Hudson to The DAM Show, and it was a fun one.

The Osinachi conversation was a wide ranging trip down memory lane, touching on the creative process, passage of time, and more.

The Mike Baronn and Simon Hudson conversation entered some deep AI waters, prompting thoughtfulness on where we are both as a society and within the digital art world.
