Originally minted in May, 2020 via SuperRare, the 1/1 artwork has several recorded sales since, first to tokenangels (5.5E), then cobotica (52E), then to current seller gonna_grail (206.9E).
Three big XCOPY edition sales also take place:
'DEATHLESS' /20 - minted August 2020 via Nifty Gateway - sells for 40 ETH ($65,754 USD) to ConvictionSZN.
'EMPIRE THINGS' /42 - minted March 2025 via XCOPY's FRESH HELL contract - sells to Benji8888 for 17 ETH ($27.945 USD), and there is a twist. This edition comes directly from XCOPY himself.
'GOURMET SPICY' /24 - minted March 2022 via Nifty Gateway - sells for 11.75 WETH ($19,315 USD) to TheMysterioHardVault.

How did this set come about?
Via its description:
"Zoopepen is a community-built set. It started with people spontaneously posting Opepen animal variations on the X-timeline. These pieces were further refined and added to by about thirty artists in a group chat and a large shared Figma file. Voting, iteration, and much deletion took place to arrive at a cohesive set of 80 Opepen animals."
The overall 'Opepen Edition' Collection by Jack Butcher | Visualize Value sees 62 additional sales for 20.49 ETH, with its current list at 0.23 ETH.

No chill in the XCOPY market right now. The most interesting thing about this one in my eyes is how it steamrolled right through a period of volatility, typically a freeze for art. To be clear, I'm not suggesting that this in itself is bullish, just that it's different from what we are used to. The activity itself must be balanced with its re-pricing in USD terms.
No chill for The Memes either! They continue to hold the 0.05 - 0.06 ETH list level, which is a marvel.
